A Series & Other MobileBy adding the eSIM option back, did it disappear when you updated the phone or was it never there? If it disappeared after an update, try to clear the phone cache in the recovery mode and see if that helps. Otherwise, it may need a trip to a Samsung Service Center.
The only A36 phones that do not support eSIM are SM-A366Q and SC-54F. I assume yours is a SM-A366U or SM-A366U1 model if it was made for the US.
If you go to Settings, Connections, SIM Manager, Are you not seeing an option to add eSIM? If you do, see if you can add the eSIM manually.
Also, I assume the correct IMEI number (IMEI 2 on my Galaxy S phone) was conveyed to Mint. If not, you can try having them re-issue the QR code with the correct IMEI number and see if that work.
Hope it works out for you soon.
