A Series & Other MobileI purchased the unlocked A56 directly from Samsung to upgrade from the A51. I found that the IMEI is not on the list for Cricket. How do I go about getting the A56 to work on the Cricket network? At this point I have spent all this money for a phone that I won't be able to use.

A Series & Other MobileYou need to have Cricket add your IMEI to the Whitelist so it can be used and this is what Google says to do.
To get Cricket to add your IMEI to their network's "whitelist" (for features like HD Voice/VoLTE), you usually need to use their official Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) checker, ensure the device is unlocked and compatible (North American model), and contact Cricket Support or visit a store if it's a newer phone not on the initial list, as they can sometimes add compatible models manually. The process involves verifying your phone isn't blacklisted (lost/stolen) and meets Cricket's network standards for VoLTE/HD Voice.
Steps to Get Your IMEI Whitelisted (or Verified):
- Check Device Eligibility:
Get your IMEI: Dial *#06# on your phone or find it in settings. - Use Cricket's Checker: Go to Cricket's BYOD page and use their IMEI checker to see if your device is compatible.
- Ensure the Device is Unlocked:
If your phone is from another carrier, get it unlocked by that original carrier first. - Contact Cricket Support (If Incompatible/Not Listed):
Call or Chat: Contact Cricket Support or visit a Cricket store to ask them to add your IMEI to the whitelist, especially if it's a newer model that should work but isn't recognized.
Provide Details: They may need to verify it's a North American version and meets HD Voice standards - Activate Service:
Once approved/verified, get a Cricket SIM (or use eSIM) and activate it on an eligible plan.
