A Series & Other MobileI use blue tooth a lot. After exiting blue tooth mode If I make a phone call I cannot hear anything on the other end but they can hear me. I have to restart my phone then all is ok. This is the second A54 5G that this has been an issue. Any help would be appreciated.

A Series & Other MobileWhy do you turn off BT, when you stop using your BT device? Once you turn off your your BT device it should no longer be connected to your phone, but it hurts nothing to keep BT on - it makes for easy reconnection when you turn on your devices. I assume you are referring to ear gear here. Just simply putting your buds away, or turning off your headphones should be sufficient to disengage the BT. See what happens if you just try that and then take or make a call.
Also, it won't hurt to clear your phone's cache partition and/or run a diagnostic on the phone.
I, too, have an A54 and I have no problem whatsoever with disengaging my ear gear from the phone and hearing people on calls - using either speaker. I keep my BT always active; mainly because I have a watch, but kept it active always even before I obtained the watches.

A Series & Other MobileIt is unlikely you got two defective A54 phones with the exact same defect. Even if there was a bad batch of phones that somehow missed QC inspections, it is unlikely you would have obtained a second one from the same defective batch. This would appear to indicate that there is some conflict with something else you have on your device.
See if you can start the phone in safe mode and replicate the condition. Safe mode only loads the OS and apps that came with the phone, so any conflicting app you have would be unlikely to interfere. If you are only having an issue after connecting to your car, the conflict may be with your car's BT. If all your other devices connect and disconnect properly, I'd put my money on a conflict with the car.
Have you put in an error report with Samsung? This will help determine the cause of the issue. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692
