A36 esim option disappeared

I bought an A36 5G (SM-A366E/DS) a few months ago just because it had esim support (which my previous A52 didn't have).

I confirmed in Settings/SIM Manager that the option to add an esim was present when I received the phone.

Now that I need to configure an esim, the option is not there anymore. Not sure when it got removed, but it has to be through one of the software updates.

Can this be fixed somehow?

Who is your carrier?

It's an unlocked phone, not a carrier one. My carrier is Sasktel (I'm in Canada).

My solution: I bought another phone, and not a Samsung.

Yes, in LATAM they suddenly disabled the esim option and never disclosed it publicly, just took it away . I bought the a36 2 months after release and a bit ago I noticed the esim dissapeared
