I loved my Samsung phones. Many were bought online because I preferred the international versions, with dual sim and oem unlock. With the new UI 8 update that Samsung pushed on both the US and international versions, the oem unlock feature has been removed. It was only available on international versions, so I always bought both the US version and the international version. 

I used to be a loyal Samsung customer ever since they released their first smartphone, but no longer. I will not buy another Samsung phone until they re-enable oem unlock on the international version. 

I've already bought my next phone, and it was not a Samsung phone. I had been eyeing the S25. I wanted to get both the US and international versions, but as mentioned above, the oem unlock feature is no longer available. 

Sorry Samsung, you've lost a lifelong customer, at least until you allow oem unlock on the international version. I used to buy 2 galaxy models every year.
