I have a HW-Q800b soundbar connected to my QN90D via earc which has been causing me grief for the last few weeks, the center speaker (I think) does not seem to want to output dialogue clearly. Thinking it was a tv problem I replaced my old Samsung tv so now I have the Samsung QN90D, however the problem still persists. Any time I watch a film regardless of audio format DTS/Dolby Atmos the dialogue is super quiet and tinny but everything else is loud. The soundbar will also no longer connect via wifi to the tv, despite being on the same frequency. The audio sounds fine when being played on bluetooth or on spotify. I have tried voice enhancement mode on the smart things app, but it seems more like a speaker issue rather than the audio mix. 4k blu ray's i've test all sound tinny with quiet audio (Top Gun Maverick, Get Out, Heathers, Texas Chainsaw Massacre).
My set up was originally Panasonic UB820 on bitstream passthrough to the q800b which is connected via earc to the tv. I have replaced the HDMI cables/swapped cables/reset the soundbar/removed from smart things app/firmware is up to date. I've only had the soundbar for 1.5 years so would rather not have to replace it. I wondered if anyone is having similar problems, I'm not sure if it's a firmware problems/tech glitch or something else.
