I would like to suggest that users be given the option to set how often they want their devices to be backed up automatically. Most people do not need a daily backup, so the option to set daily, weekly or monthly backups would be useful. Especially since a perfectly working system would be backed up before a major update that could be problematic. One could get back their working system before the backup gets overwritten by the wonky update. People would still be able to backup manually whenever they want.
