Washers and DryersI bought a new washer at the end of August 2025. Model wf45b6300aw/us. Since I had it installed, it makes a loud metal banging sound. I have had the repairman try to fix it on 3 separate occasions with no success. Today, I was informed that the entire washer needs to be disassembled and a new frame installed, as the original frame is defective. I was told that this will require two repair people to complete the repair and take a considerable amount of time. So basically, I paid for a new washer that needs to be refurbished. I have spent a significant amount of time on the phone scheduling appointments, which requires me to troubleshoot with each person each time. I have to move everything out of the utility room each time so they can try to make the repairs. I could understand this repair if it were a 2- or 3-year-old washer. However, I purchased a new washer, which arrived with a defective frame. I should not have to waste so much time to have a properly working washing machine. After three attempts and determining that it is defective, they should replace it with a new, non-defective washer. I didn’t get a discount for a refurbished washer. I paid for a new working washer, but I received one that was not working. Samsung customer service told me that the warranty only covers repairs, so there is nothing they can do. Basically, make sure you don't buy Samsung unless you are willing to gamble that you won’t get an expensive piece of junk.
