How do you get the drum light to stay on while the door is open? It turns off after a minute or so.

Thank you

Hello there, and thank you so much for reaching out to the Community regarding the dryer's drum light. We are able to advise with some model you can Press to turn the interior lamp on or off. However, please keep in mind, the lamp stays lit for 2 minutes after it has turned on, and then turns off automatically.

If you have any further questions or concerns we'd encourage you to review the online manual here- https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202312/20231228095659079/DC68-04299K-00_IB_DV6300B_EN_...

This is a terrible design. When unloading the dryer I need to press the door opening switch multiple times. It's very annoying and will make me avoid purchase Samsung dryers in the future. I fold clothes directly from the dryer. This takes me about 10 minutes maximum. If that setting was auto off after 10 minutes then not a big issue. I'm sure a tiny led doesn't waste that much electricity. If I'm looking to save electricity then I'm not drying clothes in a dryer, I'm hanging them up to dry.
