I own a Samsung Smart Washer-Dryer Combo (model WD53DBA900HZ) and Iโd like to suggest improvements to the Laundry Planner, which currently doesnโt meet the real needs of combo users.
1.The machine still requires manual confirmation (pressing Start on the panel) even after sending a Wash+Dry cycle from the app. This defeats the purpose of remote scheduling, especially during night-time or off-peak electricity hours.
2.Laundry Planner only lets us set an โEnd Timeโ but not a โStart Time.โ On combo machines, where cycle durations can vary greatly, this makes it hard to schedule accurately.I suggest that Samsung adds the following for combo models only:
โขAn optional โStart Timeโ setting in Laundry Planner (in addition to โEnd Timeโ)
โขAn option to auto-start cycles sent remotely (with user-enabled safety confirmation in the app)
This would make the SmartThings experience far more useful and aligned with how combo units are actually used.
