I have a ventless combo AI washer dryer that is throwing a 3CA error code. I have contacted customer service and submitted for a repair. The problem is I have clothing inside the machine that I cannot get out because the door is stuck locked. I have tried power cycling the machine but as soon as it’s plugged the error code comes back and I cannot do anything else selection wise on the menu. How is there no emergency release on the machine?? Customer service has been less than helpful, advising I wait until my service appointment on 12/11 at which point all my clothing will be covered in mold and have to be thrown out. I have sentimental baby clothing inside there and work uniforms. Anybody have any idea how to get this door open??
Good afternoon and I apologize for the delay in response! The washer/ dryer throwing that error code and the door staying locked sounds super annoying; let's see if we can assist with that! I see that you've done a power cycle, but try unplugging the unit for about an hour and seeing if once plugged back in you can open the door. In the event that it doesn't open, you may have to wait until the service tech can come look at the unit.
