Your story might be exactly what someone else needs to keep going. Let’s get past Quitter’s Day together and start the year stronger.
Quitters’ Day always hits the same way for me. The goals are solid, the motivation was there on January 1st… and then real life shows up with notifications, work, family, and distractions from every direction.
One thing that’s genuinely helped me stay on track this year is using Now Brief as part of my daily routine. Instead of trying to remember everything I planned to do, I let my phone surface what actually matters at the right time.
Now Brief showing useful information and reminders all in one place.
I’ve been using Now Brief to:
• Surface reminders and upcoming tasks automatically, without me having to dig through apps
• Keep my day anchored around what’s next instead of reacting to everything all at once
• Reduce that “out of sight, out of mind” feeling that usually derails my consistency
I won’t pretend it magically fixes motivation, but it does remove friction. And when motivation dips (because it always does), fewer barriers make a big difference.
If Quitters’ Day usually gets you too, my tip is simple: don’t rely on willpower alone. Set up your Galaxy to gently nudge you back on track instead of letting your goals disappear into notification chaos.
January is tough—motivation dips and learning something new can feel impossible when you’re juggling kids, work, and life. I’ve faced this myself trying to keep up with new skills this year. Some days, it feels like there’s just no time to focus. One tool that’s helped me stay on track is Galaxy AI. For example, I can record a quick voice note of something I want to learn, then Galaxy AI summarizes it into actionable points I can review while making breakfast or during a commute. It turns tiny pockets of time into real progress, so I don’t have to block a whole hour at a time. If you’re struggling like I was, try letting Galaxy AI do the heavy lifting—summarizing, organizing, and highlighting key ideas. It’s like having a personal study assistant that fits right in your pocket.
@Rydah Love seeing how you’re sticking with your goals! Galaxy really makes it so much easier to turn small moments into real progress. Keep going—you’ve got this! 💪✨
[Quitter's Day] How I'm Completing my 2026 Goals working out with my Galaxy Watch Ultra.
I'm not going to be a Quitter
Tomorrow is officially known as "Quitters' Day," the date when many people begin to let their New Year’s resolutions slide. While it’s easy to get discouraged when the initial excitement wears off. I’ve decided that this year will be different. I’m staying committed to my health journey, and I have my Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra strapped on to make sure every mile and every heartbeat counts toward that goal.
It hasn't been easy so far, especially with the weather being so unpredictable but with the Watch Ultra I'm able to bring up the weather and see when the best time would be to get outside without freeze.
Dealing with snow one day and sunshine the next makes it hard to stay consistent, but having the rugged durability of the Watch Ultra helps me push through any environment. I’m refusing to let the elements dictate my progress; 2026 is going to be the year I finally succeed in reaching my goals and truly prioritize my well-being.
I run and workout several times a week for last 10 years. There are days I just don't feel like it,but I know the end result that I will feel better not only physically but also mentally. It takes no energy to think or do something negative, but takes energy to do something positive. You can have the positive energy to drive on.
From the start of the year, I vowed that 2026 would be my year of rest and relaxation, but with college classes and work taking much of my time, that hasn't been the case.
Afternoon and night classes, weekends filled with meetings, club officer zooms, and personal time that actually just becomes another all-nigher...
Through the whirlwind of different events, I have figured out how to make having a consistent sleep schedule work for me and now you.
1. Prioritize what's most important in your routine first. For me, this is school as a full-time student I need to make sure I'm not slipping on my assignments.
2. Allow yourself to have "me-time" during the day during work breaks. I love to workout, but I don't always have the time. To ensure that my mental health stays stable, I do at least 15 minutes at home.
3. I use my Galaxy Buds to help me relax before bed. Classical music is a must for me! What's your favorite type of music to listen to?
Every January 9 is Quitters' Day. 🗓️ This year, I plan to get out and do more activities that I wasn't able to do last year, especially fishing, which is my passion. 🎣 There is nothing like connecting with nature and taking a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. 🧘♀️ I plan to use my Galaxy S25 Ultra to map out and create a plan for each place I want to visit and explore. 🗺️ At the same time, I plan to track my daily steps and other health routines using my Galaxy Watch while I'm reconnecting with nature. 🚶♀️ I truly believe that a healthy mind will result in a healthy body. 🧠 We all should take a break from the digital world, and if you don't fish like I do, try going on a small hike or walk; it may help you in more ways than you think. 🌲 Let 2026 be the best year yet. ✨
Going to use those galaxy buds to help me exercise. I finally get to listen to music when I go on walks instead of staring into space. Also, I finally joined a step up challenge group to help keep me in check with my steps
[Quitter’s Day] How to Build a Morning Walking Habit in 2026 as a Not-a-Morning-Person with Galaxy Watch
January 9 is known as Quitters’ Day, but this year I’m proving to myself that small, consistent changes really do stick
One of my 2026 goals has been getting up 30 minutes earlier every morning to go for a walk. I am not naturally a morning person, so it’s very easy to hit snooze when it’s still dark and cozy.
What’s helped me stay on track is my Galaxy Watch:
* Gentle alarms & reminders My Galaxy Watch wakes me up without the jarring phone alarm, which makes getting out of bed feel more doable. I also set daily movement reminders so skipping isn’t the default.
* Activity tracking = motivation Seeing my walks logged each morning—steps, time, and progress—gives me that little dopamine boost that makes me want to keep the streak going.
* Mind–body check-ins Tracking my heart rate and noticing how much better I feel after starting the day with movement has reinforced why I’m doing this.
The biggest lesson so far: I don’t need to overhaul my life—I just need tools that support my habits. Galaxy Watch has helped turn “I should” into “I did,” and that’s how I’m getting past Quitters’ Day and into a healthier 2026.
@Rydah This is such a great goal—consistency is everything! Love how you’re using Galaxy features to support your routine instead of relying on willpower alone.
[Quitter’s Day] How I Keep My 2026 Goals on Track Even When Sick
January 9 is Quitter’s Day, and this is usually when I start giving up. I set goals with good intentions, but once life gets busy, consistency is the hardest part for me. Right now I’m actually not feeling great and dealing with a bit of sickness. But even with that, I’ve already managed to get three workouts in, and seeing that progress tracked on my Galaxy Watch has really helped. The Running Coach feature guides me with personalized pace and recovery reminders, so I can stay consistent safely even on low-energy days. I’d also like to share the video with how I’m approaching my 2026 goals this year and what’s helping me stay on track. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTMAFMEkuFc/?igsh=Ym5reWhiZWd4NW92
@jh888 Love this! I didn’t know the Galaxy Watch had gentle alarms, what a smart way to make mornings easier. Seeing your progress and how you stick with your walks is so motivating. Keep going, you’re doing amazing!

[Quitter’s Day] How to Stay Active in 2026 as a Busy Person with Galaxy Watch8
January 9 being Quitter’s Day is honestly so real 😅 One of my biggest challenges is staying consistent with working out once life gets busy.
My Galaxy Watch8 helps me stay on track by reminding me to move and tracking my activity throughout the day. Even on low-energy days, seeing my activity rings motivates me to at least go for a short walk instead of doing nothing.
I also love that it automatically tracks workouts, so I don’t have to think about starting anything. My tip: focus on small wins. A little movement every day is better than none, and the Watch8 makes it easier to stay consistent 💪⌚
Im working towards making time for me! I completely forget about me because im always working or training and for the 2026, I am putting myself as a priority! My S25 Ultra and my Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will be yelling at me to take breaks, go see that movie by yourself or just sit in silence! For national quitters day im quitting putting myself second for anything this year and it WILL stick! Its ok to out yourself first!! Im almost 9 days of learning but its fun!
[Quitter’s Day] How to Stay Consistent With My 2026 Goals as a Busy Student with Samsung Health + Now Brief
January 9 is Quitters’ Day😧when motivation usually drops. I’ve felt it too while juggling school, work, and content creation. What’s helped me stay on track in 2026 is using my Galaxy devices instead of relying on motivation alone. Samsung Health keeps me accountable by tracking my activity and reminding me that small progress still counts. Now Brief helps me stay organized so my days don’t feel overwhelming. Galaxy Watch helps by automatically tracking my activity even on busy days when I don’t plan a workout. Inactivity reminders and daily goals give me that extra push to move, stretch, or take a quick walk.
Small reminders, real progress. That’s how I’m staying on track in 2026.
You’ve got this! Small movement still counts. Even on busy or low-energy days, letting Galaxy Watch8 nudge you to move and track activity makes it easier to stay consistent. Progress over perfection always
[Quitter's Day] How to eat healthier in 2026 as a rushing around person with Samsung health
So 2026 is here, and I promised myself I'd eat better to get to a healthier weight. Sadly, that hasn't happened yet.
With the kids and sports practices/games, it's been super hard to find time for healthy, cooked meals.
Trying to figure out what I can do to help with my calorie intake, I turned to Samsung Health. I'll list the steps below with what I planned to do to help.
1. I used the Samsung Food app to help plan healthy meals ahead of time.
2. I ordered groceries for pickup so I saved time with shopping.
3. I'm logging everything I'm eating and drinking into Samsung Health to watch my calorie intake.
Hopefully, if you're in the same boat as me, this can help you along the way!
Today I am staying motivated by staying positive and working with what I have. This January may not feel like winter and I haven't had many days to wear mg new sweaters but I'm making the most out of these unusually warm days by getting outside more this winter and taking advantage before a freeze happens. With my Galaxy Ultra and my watch synced I never have to worry about keeping track of my workouts. The auto workout feature learns and adapts to how active I am and I swear every time I'm getting bored or restless my watch predicts and notifies me to "get moving". That feature is excellent. Let's not forget how Spotify in my Galaxy Watch keeps me hyped as I shed pounds. I can't even imagine not having tunes while I workout nowadays.
Best of luck to everyone. Stay positive, focus on every win, no matter how small it seems and continue pushing forward and never turn back.
This all sounds really helpful. If anyone needs any encouragement I have my workout coach here. She'll motivate you and only judge if you don't give Snacks 😊
[Quitter's Day] How to get adequate rest in 2026 as a stressed out mom with Galaxy Watch8
I've had a rough start to my new year...our cat needed emergency surgery on 12/30 and we had bank fraud just a few weeks prior. So, while the cat recovers physically, we're also trying to recover financially. It's been so stressful. Now I have a cold on top of it all! I know lack of sleep has been my biggest issue. So, my Galaxy Watch8 has been very useful at tracking my sleep and helping me see when it might be a good day for a quick nap so stay energized and healthy. The stress monitor and breathing exercises have also really come in handy. I'm still monitoring my steps as well, but giving myself some grace with everything going on. It was still nice to see that I've gotten some steps in chasing cats around while we attempt to re-socialize our post-op cat with our other two cats now that he's out of isolation.
@GregglesTV Staying active with a busy schedule is a big challenge for me as well. Best of luck to you in achieving your goals. I know the Galaxy Watch definitely does help!
Sometimes I just have a bunch of random ingredients, and I don’t know how I could use them best to make something. Luckily with Gemini I can list exactly what I have and get a yummy recipe in seconds!
@jendub1977 Getting a good nights rest is hard especially as someone with a busy lifestyle. I should use my Galaxy Watch8 to monitor my sleep more often. I hope you recover well and can continue to use your watch to maximize your productivity! You’ve got this!
As the year starts out we all have our own goals especially when it comes to our health. But for some reason by the 9th its always down the drain or back to old habits for Quitters Day. Well for me what I especially love with Samsung Health is that it keeps me honest and makes me want to take my health seriously from simple things to setting up by daily steps, to my water intakes, Stress Levels, Sleep patterns and even Meditation. But what I also love is not only can I have it where I see it on my phone but I can track it on my watches both my Galaxy Watch8 (with running coach is my new best friend) and my Galaxy Watch Ultra. These help keep me motivated and stay on track for my healthy lifestyle. I also love when I get that i achieved all my daily goals.
This is the first quitters day that im participating in. My goal is to build my credit so I can build my house. Saving money has been a real challenge. With apps like temo and shein I have brain cancer so I am on disability. Which makes things even harder. I've struggled for so long im tired. I just need some cushion to get thru. I spend a lot of time searching for loans my score is currently at 641 and on the rise! I've just gta get a photo of my end goal to keep me motivated. I have 2.5 acres to build on. I'm also going to make it a dog rescue. I really want to help those poor lost abandoned souls that are the list just because someone don't have love for it.
Quitter’s Day is when most people give up—but not me 💪
My 2026 goal is staying consistent with fitness, and my biggest challenge is being a busy mom with very little free time. On hectic days, my Galaxy Watch8 keeps me moving without the pressure.
