Samsung tablet vs Iphone 12

Not to long ago, about 3 weeks. I purchased a Samsung tablet and a iPhone 12 , to see which one had a better performance. Personally I thought that iPhone was better but here is data.

iPhone 12

• More child friendly   
• Better camera 📷 
• More editing options.  

Samsung tablet

• Better settings options
• More controls
• Better volume and brightness options 

 Over all this is my experience, so all of this is not what necessarily will be your experience. Remember this is only to give what could possibly be what you experience.

What is your goal here?

Agreed, obviously not an apples to apples comparison (sic). The current Galaxy Tab S10U does have a best camera sensor that's only 12MP which is the same resolution as a five year old iPhone 12 but the phone would be much easier to hold without natural camera shake than the tablet (see Newton's theories on momentum and gravity). Neither "reviewed" device is likely to match the current Samsung Galaxy S25 phone range where the S25U phone back cameras are one 200MP + two of 50MP + one 12MP. Even a current iPhone 16 has a maximum sensor resolution of 48MP for comparison. Though the phrase "Better camera" could refer to the app and tools as much as the optical devices themselves, as "data" for making individual choices it's not very "clear" (sic). Better camera tools would go a long way for me to prefer one device, but the 50MP T (1x-5x optical zoom) and 200MP W (1x zoom and with OIS) sensors on the S25U are hard to beat as optical devices on a phone that fits in my hand. Though I admit, that I wish Samsung would allow Expert Raw to be used on my Galaxy Tab S10U and S9U in addition to only my Galaxy S25U phone.
