Fingerprints unregistered on Secure Folder after one month - Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 One UI 8

Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 SM-X710

One UI: version 8

My Samsung galaxy Tab S9 was updated to One UI 8 exactly one month ago. At that time, I had to re-register my fingerprints inside Secure Folder to be able to open apps in the secure folder using fingerprint biometrics.

Today, exactly one month later, when I tried opening apps inside Secure Folder, I was being forced to use my PIN. When I looked under secure folder settings, I noticed that there were no fingerprints registered any longer and I had to register my fingerprint again within Secure Folder.

Is this just a glitch or does anyone know whether I will have to register fingerprints every month on the tablet? I also have a phone on One UI 8 and it has not asked me to re-register the fingerprints inside Secure Folder in over two months after the One UI 8 update.

I'm having the same issue
I strongly dislike the changes of OneUI 8.0

I will wait to see if it happens again next month before submitting. Hope this was just some freak occurrence. Doubt that it won't happen again but I can always hope!

Well one thing I do know is that every so often because of the security measures that Knox has you're required to use your PIN or your pattern instead of your fingerprint every so often I think it's every 30 unlocks or something like that just to make sure that it's still you getting into your phone blah blah blah. If you're not using your secure folder that often perhaps Knox security is disabling the fingerprint as a security preventive measure to prevent other people from possibly getting into your secure folder.

Also you do know that there's more than one way to just hide a regular folder right to where people can't see it or find it unless you're storing really personal information and whatnot the secure folder is kind of a gimmick well not necessarily but you might know what I'm getting at it's just something that you really don't need but you have it

I don't use fingerprints to log into secure folder. I have set the secure folder access to pin only. So, I have to use the PIN every time I open Secure Folder. The fingerprints are used only to open the apps in the secure folder.

The taught fingerprints totally disappeared in the secure folder settings and had to be taught again. Just like I had to do it when I logged into secure folder for the first time after the One UI 8 update.
