Samsung, how could you remove this?

It should be put back immediately and i hope we don't have to wait for 8.5 to get it. Where is the "Change App" icon? It was so convenient and the easiest way to replace one app with another. I know this was on devices prior to updating One UI8, because i had it on my S9+, but when i received my S11 Ultra, it was completely gone. I still have it on my Fold 7, which also runs UI8. This makes multi-tasking a bit cumbersome. And i know i can bring up my task bar, press the apps button and do it that, but that's too many steps and i keep my taskbar hidden. I did send feedback and spoke to a rep, who confirmed it might be a bug but wasn't sure. Please fix ASAP. First pic is the S11 Ultra, second if the Fold 7.

My menu as far as I can remember hasn't had that I've always closed the app with the X and selected another one on my tablet. But on my phone I've had the app icon

so weird. I had it on my Tab S9+ and all of my previous phones. Every tab i own has the option to choose another app without closing the current one. I'm surprised there haven't been more complaints about this.

Updated my a53 phone and s8÷ to ui 8.0.  Tablet works fine but phone no longer has option in multi window to show handle for full screen apps. So annoying please fix this

I have a Tab S9 I also remember the app switch button, but its no longer there after the update. I use the split screen a lot, swapping out one half while I keep the other up. Now I have to fullscreen one half and then open split screen again to change apps. Very Annoying!

Okay, so playing around with the settings more, I just figured out if you enable "swipe for split screen" you can use the swipe gesture to replace the app without having close or loose your window size (so if you have app 1 on the left taking up only 1/3 of the screen and want to replace the right side app, swipe from the right will replace that app, doesnt reset the split screen size or anything.) So I guess I can deal with that as a work around for now.

I still really would like to see the button added back into the handle menu, because tapping on the handle is so much easier than carefully swiping from the side without activating the back gesture or notification panel or something...
