Has anyone experienced an issue while using U-tube? I will be watching a channel, then the tablet starts playing random new channels. It just keeps switching. Previous tablet did it when an AD came on. Then just kept jumping channels. My tablet was under warranty, so I sent for service. I got it back and it still jumped channels randomly on it's own. Got a new tablet. Had it a week and an update needed installed. After installing update, I used for an hour and it started switching channels on U-tube AGAIN. This is a totally new tablet with the same issue.
I would suggest trying in safe mode it sounds like you've installed a app thats causing the issue since my A9+ doesn't do this. If it doesn't do it in safe mode then you would need to uninstall 1 app at a time until it happens
Detailed Steps to enter Safe Mode:
1. Power off the device:
Press and hold the Power/Side and Volume Down buttons simultaneously until the "Power off" prompt appears.
2. Enter Safe Mode:
Tap and hold the "Power off" option on the screen until the "Safe mode" prompt appears.
3. Confirm Safe Mode:
Tap "Safe mode" to confirm and initiate the restart process.
4. Restart:
The tablet will reboot into Safe Mode, indicated by "Safe Mode" in the lower-left corner of the screen.
5. Disable Airplane Mode (if needed):
If you need to use internet or other network features while in Safe Mode, swipe down to open the notification panel and turn off Airplane mode.
6. Exit Safe Mode:
To exit Safe Mode, restart the tablet by holding the power button and selecting "Restart".

Thank you for the help. I just got this tablet a week ago and did not download any new apps. Just transferred old tablet which is fine. It did not happen til I downloaded Samsung's newest update last nite. My previous A9+ did the same thing, so I was sent a new one after Samsung serviced it and said it was good. I believe Zedge wallpaper app did it to other tablet. I uninstalled from all devices. It still did not stop the utube switching channels at random on previous A9+ Also the new update took the mic off google keyboard after update.
I cleared the cache from utube. Still did not help.
I would still try it in safe mode to see if it happens since this is the first I'm hearing of this and for the microphone that's easy to add back
the voice to text microphone try this

Toggle on show keyboard button on navigation bar
Now you should see a microphone or keyboard icon in the bottom left corner of your screen if its the keyboard icon long press it and select voice input
You can also set the Spacebar as the Microphone button if you want to
Go to Settings
General Management
Samsung Keyboard settings
Swipe, touch, and feedback
Touch and hold spacebar
Change the setting to Voice Input
Now you can activate voice input by long-pressing the spacebar.

Thank you for the info. The tablet has not switched channels on Utube yet today. I use utube alot. I dont like Samsung's keyboard b/c you have to switch between letter keyboard and microphone google app to "talk text". Gboard has a little microphone on their keyboard that can be used at the same time as letters. I hate switching back and forth btwn screens. It is inconvenient. The microphone makes mistakes that must be fixed on the keyboard. Why doesnt Samsung put the mic icon on their keyboard?
