why would goodlock navstar need access to my photos???
All it supposed to do is personalize the navigation bar's appearance and behavior, not to interact with your photos.
It's not allowing to proceed. I don't want to give access, it's absurd.

There is a setting in NavStar to customize the buttons with stickers from your gallery. You don't have to give this permission if you choose not to.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks, but it does not allow to proceed without giving that permission, which is absurd. Every time there's system update, the toolbar has to be fixed through this app, instead of keeping the same buttons I set on it (like power and screenshotbuttons are missing now)

Give it permission, then go back and revoke. It's not like some spy in the sky is going to be rummaging in your gallery.

The tool bar?

Thank you much. That worked it seems. Should just be part of Ui, than a separate app. Navigation bar 🙂

Good Lock and it's modules are separate because it has compartmentalized tweaks for different features.  Having them separate allows faster updates to the apps and features, it also creates less bloat for the operating system, as different users use different modules and don't need to have them all included.

Point is that screenshot and power button belong on navigation bar, without having to go through dealing with separate apps.

Screenshot and power buttons are in the quick panel.

Not in navigation bar, which has plenty of space for them, and where they should be.

*Belong* on the navigation bar? In the history of smart phones those controls have never been on the navigation bar and, I daresay, people would be incensed if they ended up there.  The power controls belong on the side button. I don't know where the screenshot control belongs, but it is certainly not on the navigation bar.
