Galax A9+ won't rotate after July 1st update.

Just like the subject says. Tablet stays in portrait now regardless of the quick setting being on or off.

What gives?

Make sure "rotate to landscape mode" is toggled under home screen settings.

Sorry, the screenshot was from my phone. You're right, that toggle isn't there on tablets.

Try clearing cache for One UI Home.

The only cache setting found is for the keyboard. Nothing for One UI Home.

I did reset the main settings to no avail. Still no rotation even though it is turned on.

Go into settings > apps and search for One UI Home. Clear cache under Storage. (You can clear cache for any app that way.)

Never mind. The lock was on. Confusing when they change the interfaces like this. Something's definitely different from the way it was over a month ago.
