Battery health?

If I unplug my Tab A8 & don't use for a short while, like 2 hours, when I pick it up the battery is dead. Anybody else got that problem?

My guess is bad battery not holding a charge

What is the history of this tablet? How old is it and have you been charging it daily to 100%, not using any battery protection for several years? This will cause the problem you have described.

I think you nailed it. I only started using battery protection. Anything else to try?
