We used to have goose for Christmas dinner, but now that I'm alone, I plan on a duck. (Besides, have you seen the price of goose these days?) I went the Cornish hen route for Thanksgiving, but Christmas calls for something more special. If I can find the time, Rum cakes for dessert.
