Will the UI 8.5 update change the size of the notification panel?

Rumors are rumors.

I would argue that more customization of the panel is a much needed improvement.

As for the iPhone comparison, not even close. iOS control center features separate vertical scrolling pages for each different quick settings category, while samsung consolidates everything into a single page.

Even if more customization is introduced (again, a positive thing) you will almost certainly be able to keep your panel as currently is.

You can send feedback to samsung if you'd like, but again, these are only rumors and not confirmed.

Are you being sarcastic or something? The 8.5 changes to the quick panel are amazing and badly needed. Full size and placement control, removing the useless widgets, total freedom in layout arrangement, why would you not want this?

From what I'm seeing, this will be great to finally being able to customize the notification panel to our liking and remove unused elements.

If they left the current one with the new removable unused element I will say yes but if they forced in this shape so yeah I will be disappointed

All you would need to do is re arrange the new to look just like the old which would be simple to do
