We don't have a red color for the icons however with folders they have a color wheel.
More colors are needed especially bright colors for icons like red, orange & dark yellow.
As you can see the pink doesn't match the folder color of bright red. I want this to be a Christmas Theme and for anyone wondering that wallpaper is from the Galaxy Theme Store.

There are many different shades of all colors, it's simply not possible to add them all. The theme icons are chosen by the theme designer. The folder backgrounds can be fine tuned somewhat by selecting the multicolored bubble in the bacground chooser and sliding the indicator around until you find the color you want. Samsung does not create the themes. The themes usually have contact information for the designers. You can contact the designer with your feedback.

They create the colors for Material U. They've added colors in the past thru updates.

And the theme designers choose which colors to use for their icon packs and folder backgrounds. I assume they made a deliberate choice. I don't understand whether you are whining about the color of the icons or your color choices for the folder backgrounds. If it's the folder backgrounds, just use the spectrum bubble. Of corse you will then have to change each folder individually.
