I recently received a message from the members app that asks me to verify my Samsung account. Should I respond to it or ignore it? The name of the message shows Samsung as (samsug) and it wants me to verify my account within 24 hours or my account will be suspended it's also saying that I will have to pay a $500 fine ARE YOU KIDDING ME I'm not gonna pay that much did this message pop up for anyone else on here I didn't tap the link on it I just wanted to be careful
It's a phishing scam. There were a number of them tonight. Good that you didn't tap the link. Send a DM to @Samsung_Moderator or @SamsungModerator1 with the username of the account that sent you the message.
