Samsung account lockout and unable to access my secure folder

Hello,

Earlier today, my phone was automatically factory reset because the Auto Factory Reset feature was enabled, and it happened accidentally while my phone was in my pocket! Fortunately, I had a full backup, so I was able to restore all my data successfully.

However, after restoring my phone, I faced a serious problem. I didn't know that Samsung Account 2-step Verification Code would be sent via WhatsApp. So before reinstalling WhatsApp, I tried to sing in to my Samsung Account because I urgently needed access to my Secure Folder, which contained very important data.

Since I couldn't receive the verification code as WhatsApp was needed for this matter, I couldn't complete the sign-in, and now my Samsung Account seems to be locked. Even after reinstalling WhatsApp, I still don't receive the 2FA verification code and get a warning about too many login attempts. It has now been more than 6 hours since my last attempt to sign in and still have no luck.

I have read somewhere that this lockout can take up to 24 hours but could you please help me unlock my Samsung Account so to receive the 2-step verification code again and access my Secure Folder?

Note: I created this new Samsung Account only to post my question here on the community forum, as I can't log in to my original account.

Contact Samsung and have them disable 2-step, just give them the info they need

You can talk to them via text message as well. But most of the time they are useless
