Samsung Pass data lost.

Hello everyone, I have been a Samsung Pass user for over 3 years. I reciently lost all of my 200 accounts i had on Samsung Pass with absolutely no way of getting this data back. I checked Samsung Cloud, because I back up my phone every week, and those are gone too. I depend on Samsung Pass to function every day, and now I am complelty lost for words that a multi billion doller brand like Samsung cant retain Passwords. Somebody, please help.

Sorry, if the pass data is gone from the cloud, you are up a creek. Unless you have also been using an alternative password manager, there is nothing to be done. Have you checked with Samsung tech support to see if there's any way to recover the cloud data or how it disappeared in the first place? Have you ever made a full Smart Switch backup to an external device that included the Samsung Pass data? That would be the only way to get it back.

I will check my old phone, I think it may have the passwords on there.

I think Samsung pass data is kept exclusively in the cloud, unless you downloaded the data or specifically added it to a smart switch backup. I could be wrong, though. I stopped using it once I realized the data was proprietary and not exportable to other password managers. It's what locks users to Samsung. Good luck. I really hope they are on your old phone.

If the pass data exists on the other phone, and if it won't transfer via smart switch, you can go into Samsung Wallet settings and export the Samsung pass data to a file, and then import it to your current phone. And Save a copy of the file for backup.
