I recently placed an order, but unfortunately I forgot to add the unit number on my shipping address. This was my mistake, but I believe it was a simple solution for Samsung. When I notice I didn't include my apartment number I contacted Samsung support for help and they told me the order cannot be modified because the items were already being prepared for shipment. They told me to contact the shipper to request an address update once tracking is available, and so I did, I contacted both shippers. In this case was FedEx and UPS, due to my order being sent in two packages.

Unfortunately, after contacting FedEx and UPS, they told me the shipper had to made the delivery updates because the packages have restrictions and cannot be modified by the receiver, which makes total sense because then anyone could call and make updates! Something Samsung agents seems not to understand.

I reach back to Samsung to inform what the shipper told me and they said they were going to be issuing a ticket with an allegedly 'escalation' in order for this to be updated and for me to be able to receive my packages. It's been more than a week now, and it's very frustrating because I took advantage of black friday deals and I was left with nothing just by not providing an unit number which I instantly notice and informed Samsung about.

I have been a customer of Samsung many years and I find this simple issue unacceptable to understand, is not the whole address, it's literally just a missing apartment number that can't be added. I now must wait until the package gets returned to Samsung which usually takes up to 30 business days and then see what will happen with my packages.

I have been in constant communication with the agents and asking them to speak with a supervisor or a manager and seems none of them have one because they couldn't transfer me to one. Not even once..

I came now here as my last resource to see if someone can help me with this issue from Samsung support.

Are you likely to not get your packages with no apartment number?  Does anyone in your building have a similar name?  UPS & FedEx drivers, harried as they are, are still capable of reading a building directory. If you are worried about your package disappearing, you have an option to redirect your delivery to a FedEx or UPS pickup location, where you would have to show ID to pick  up your package.  Usually this requires that you download their apps and create a free account.  By having an account, because you are verified, you are usually able to add additional shipping instructions or change the delivery location.  There may be a fee for diverting to a location other than a UPS store or FedEx pickup location.  Both the UPS & FedEx apps provide the ability to keep your correct address, including apartment number, on file in your account.  They also allow you to direct the driver where to leave your package, with preset locations like front door, garage, building office or a custom location like apartment 11.  It may not be too late for this shipment if you set up your UPS and FedEx accounts right away.  Having the apps gives you the added advantage of being pre-notified of shipments on their way, and notifications of delivery progress.  I've been using both for years.

Once an order is packed and shipped by the vendor, there is usually little they can do to correct the shipping label.  This is true of any vendor, not just Samsung.  This is because the labels are produced and automatically entered into the shippers' systems and barcodes may have already been scanned for shipments in progress.

Yep, I have been using those apps for years. I also have informed delivery from the USPS. I live in an apartment building, I like to get notifications that it has delivered. UPS you can even look for where the truck is.
