I didn't realize there was a song limit for how many tracks you could add to a playlist. Went to add the a bunch of songs to a playlist and I ran into "Unable to add tracks to playlist. Maximum number of track (1000) exceeded."

Is there a way to increase it?

You would need to contact Samsung to make a feature request, though it may be more effective in the short term to create a separate playlist for those songs.

You can get in touch with someone at Samsung by visiting the support tab in the members app and navigating to "send feedback."

For Samsung Music: no, you canโ€™t increase the 1,000-track playlist limit. Itโ€™s a hardcoded app restriction. The only workarounds are splitting songs into multiple playlists, playing from folders instead, or using a different music app with higher limits.

They never thought that someone would still be downloading mp3s from the net ๐Ÿ˜‚ jk but 1000 local songs is definitely an accomplishment now a days

1. Who needs 1000 songs in a playlist?

2. Have you tried another music player to see if there's the same type of limitation?

I don't use Samsung Music player, but I also do not have 1000 songs in rotation.  I have about 550 and just put my player on shuffle, because I never know what I want to hear, so therefore no need for playlists.  My collection *is* my playlist.
