Samsung needs to work on making an update to the Samsung music app that will allow editing the "recording year" in the track details for multiple tracks at once, instead of having to edit each and every track of an album one by one. I have so many albums its taking me forever to do it one by one.

Have you tried TK Music Tag editor?  I haven't used it myself, but it says it supports batch editing, including year.  I believe it also acts as a music player.  It's got a rating of 4.4 with 3k reviews.  It's not free, but the cost is nominal.  Since I download and edit my music files on my computer, I use a different program for editing tags.  There is also an app called Batch Audio Tagger (free and not as highly rated, but I guess it would depend on the rater's criteria).

Honestly, does the recording year really make a difference?

I recommend that you also leave a review in the Galaxy Store so the developer takes note of your suggestion.

There are apps made specifically for that. I love how everyone seems to know what Samsung *needs* to work on.

If there are apps for that please name a few. I've used numerous ones and none will take effect to the recording year
