According to Samsung Health, they need my phone number so my friends can search for me via my phone #. How do I do that or is Samsung Health lying and using that excuse to sell my number?
They already have your phone number. You have to give permission so that it can link contacts and all that for people you know with your number or in your contacts.. if you are using their phone, if you have, Google, or samsung account.. they already have all of your information you have then access when you set your phone up
How are you supposed to share info or workouts with your friends if you don't give the app permission to do so?
Are you trying to use the "together" feature? You need to grant contacts permission. If you are logged into your Samsung account, your phone number is already linked to your account and you should not have to enter it separately. It's been a very long time since I initially set up the bealth app so I don't remember.
