Samsung Galaxy Friends

I've been searching for answers and am getting nowhere. It looks like the Samsung galaxy friends app is discontinued on a lot of phones, my S24 included, and so things we bought with NFC themes don't work and we are out that money. Is there a list somewhere of phones that still support it? It's more than a little upsetting that we are buying items said to work with Samsung phones only to find we wasted our money. I've searched and found nothing from Samsung on when or why our phones are the ones that don't get this feature.

I never heard of that app, but that doesn't mean anything.  The last info I could find on it was from July of 2024, and it was basically just an explanation of what it is.  It looks to be available now only for the flip and fold phones, but don't hold me to that.  You would likely be better off contacting Samsung directly about it.

Ive never heard of it also unless I've forgotten about it since I've never used it.

I believe Samsung Galaxy Friends was discontinued and the app we're now using to communicate is what replaced it. Just saying.

The "Samsung Galaxy Friends" app was an older platform for exclusive content with accessories, but it's largely been replaced; today, connecting with friends on Samsung involves apps like Samsung Find (location sharing, device tracking), Quick Share (fast file sharing), and Samsung Health (fitness challenges), with the core "Friends" idea now integrated or evolved into these newer services and features for sharing, location, and community on your Galaxy devices. 

The only accessories that I know of that use NFC are the Flipsuit cases and they automatically connect when you place them on the phone so they are no need for a app to connect with them.

Believe or not, I DO know how to Google. If you read the copy paste it has no info for the nfc thing.

Like anything else one purchases, when something is discontinued, you lose the purchase price of anything you purchased that were used with it.  I am sure any themed cases are still usable as cases.  Nobody assumed you didn't know how to use Google, but some of us had to in order to attempt to answer your question, as you are likely one of a very small subset of users who actually ever heard of or used the app (likely why it was discontinued).
