I've experienced this issue on several Samsung Android phones, from my S9 to my new S25+. I'm using the Samsung Email app (version 6.2.06.0), connected to my IMAP mail service (SmarterMail, self-hosted). When I forward messages, the entire contents of the message is turned into a series of attachments. Sometimes, the original message simply disappears from the forward. This happens to all recipients, whether they are on our e-mail system, viewed as webmail or from Outlook (desktop app), or for Gmail or other systems.
Is there a fix for this? If not, I'll need to change to a different mobile email app.
