STOP FORCING AI ON CUSTOMERS

AI is terrible for the environment. Cooling towers are used to run thousands of gallons of water -all to keep the AI computers from overheating- and that water is effectively contaminated in the process. Each use of AI is equal to 16oz of water being wasted. We only have so much water.

A lot of people vehemently denounce the use of AI, and the fact that Samsung is effectively forcing it down our throats is deplorable. So many of my favorite features were destroyed and replaced with AI tools that I will never use.

!MAKE AI TOOLS OPTIONAL!

I will never use AI to edit a photo, so why is it on my quicktools and unable to be removed? 

I will never use AI to write a paragraph, because I'm educated enough to write them on my own, so why is my phone telling me to use the AI writing feature?

I have been loyal to Samsung for 10 years, and this is the first time I've genuinely considered switching to a different brand for my phone.

Where are you going to go, Apple Ai is there, Google it's all over the Pixel Phones,

There is only one sure fire way not to have a phone that has Ai, it's called a flip phone.

I agree with everything you stated, but it seems like just about any device out there is implementing it into their product. I am thinking of just tossing all these devices period as their more harmful than helpful and maybe people will start looking at one another and communicate face to face.

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but good luck with switching. This is the way all OEMs are going. If you can find a device that doesn't have some form of AI bundled into it, great!

You don't have to use the tools if you don't want to. Disable Gemini in settings > apps. In settings > Galaxy AI, toggle "process data only on device."

Can't disable the AI editing in my screenshot quicktools that replaced the trash can. I tried.

I just want it optional

Lol. The water is in a closed loop system. A lot of chiller/AC systems are part of a water system that uses and recycles the same water through the system in perpetuity. I work in an industry that requires a chill water system to operate. You're fear mongering. I think AI is bad, but not because water is used for cooling. Hop off you pedestal now.

You should use that education you have and tell your self that you have the very basic Ai on your phone. It's hardly Ai. As far as Ai using water and what not, any larger network, with massive amounts of servers use that with or without Ai. Always have. Longer than you've been alive. Don't use Samsung then. Gibget a bark phone, because it's only just begine. Can't wat for real Ai to be fully integrated.

I like using ai, I dont want to harm the planet though so I only use it sparingly. But I have to go looking for ai it doesn't just force its way down my throat, I have to call to it or click on an icon, or hit edit on photos, otherwise I dont see it at all?
