Requested features for One UI 8

I didn't see a thread on this but Samsung needs some suggestions for One UI 8. Please post yours.

Option to change opacity on Samsung's lockscreen widgits.

Option to change size of Samsung's lockscreen widgits.

More colors choices to match your wallpapers. I'd suggest a color wheel.

A way to organize your Galaxy Theme Store themes and wallpapers. When you have a lot your favorite ones are hard to find. I would suggest categorizing by category example a waterfall category. 

The heart shaped gallery widgit needs to move to the center.

The option to choose between the classic always on display and the new Apple Always on Display. 

Here is a picture of the limited wallpaper colors we get to choose from. We definitely need a color wheel.

One UI 8 DeX Homescreen.

One UI 8 DeX app drawer, similar to Windows 11/Chrome OS.

One UI 8 DeX Quick Panel, same look as One UI 7. 

One UI 8 DeX Search UI

One UI 8 DeX settings and Internet Windows.

This was shared by @DevOfIpos on X/Twitter and DeX is alive and well, this is the One UI 8 version that has leaked from a Galaxy S25 Ultra running One UI 8.0 with build ending with BYE2, this is a leak of One UI 8 DeX so it is still an early version but they have added One UI 7's battery icon and elements to it.

One UI 8 seems more like a refinement of One UI 7, but since it is an early build, more are expected to come, and Samsung DeX will finally be refreshed with One UI 8. 

Rumors suggest that the Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will release with One UI 8, and the S26 Series with One UI 8.5

I hope they don't get rid of classic DeX. I hate the new DeX we got a year or so ago. They at least allowed us to switch back to classic mode.

Please allow screen rotation on external monitors! This would be a must have feature for me, and I'm holding off purchases until it arrives.

With Android16 approaching, and Google announcing the new requirements for adaptive apps for larger displays, I'm curious to see how Samsung will implement this into their apps. I hope we'll also get more customization options for Samsung Dex, like taskbar customizations, and the ability to save window opacity adjustments.

Hi, I just bought my S25ULTRA. It is fantastics coz I was using Apple Before, Although Its Physically Amazing, What I really need is Certain Neccessory Software Features Especially In-Built APP LOCK, A Second Space Feature ( I Know Secure Folder is There but Second Space is Way Better, It's like Having Two Users or Phones in ONE PHONE) So Please Consider it. A Decoy for Secure Folder for Example Turning Secure Folder into Calculator or have Decoy space to fool everyone would be good. What I'm saying is if Samsung Have all the features : App Lock, Secure Folder, Second Space then it would Amazing. So Samsung Please Considere it.

These forums are only for per to peer users, with those who have experience using Samsung products offering hep and suggestion to make uses devices run better. These forum are not watched by Samsung nor the developers from Samsung, so they do not read here at all.
