Can someone please tell me how to disable/remove modes and routines. I DID NOT ASK for it, I don't want it especially it's sole purpose is to track every minute of my day. I can't remove notifications for it, I can't remove it from my drop down bar. Dear god make it go away!!

Based on seeing feedback no one seems to want this.

@Melissak0421 Modes and Routines is part of the OS and can't be removed. Not sure why you think that it is tracking your day. Please post a screenshot of the notifications that you are receiving.

In the settings I cannot turn off notifications. They are turned on but greyed out so I can't turn off.

In permissions, according to app permissions only 3 are listed as "required" yet I can only remove permissions from phone and sms. I can't even change to only when app is running.

Why i think it's sole purpose is track every minute of my days, It basically says so in permissions of the app. Permissions I can't disallow.

Modes and routines do absolutely nothing until you enable them.

Go in settings>modes&routines>3 dots in top right corner>settings>notifications

I use a few routines and get 0 notifications. I don't remember having to shut anything off. Idk if you even can. I just actually did what I told you and "allow notifications" is on and greyed out.

Yes, Samsung has eyes in the skies and they want to track everything and everywhere you do and go.

Modes and routines, as was mentioned, does absolutely nothing unless you activate a mode or create a routine. If you have done neither, you will not receive a notification of any kind. Unless you set a location based routine, there is absolutely no tracking going on. So, if you are getting notifications with nothing set, or believe you are being tracked, you must have picked up some spoofware from somewhere. I have several routines set, and I have only ever received a notification for one I specifically configured to send me said notification.

If you have a routine or mode set in your dropdown bar, all you have to do is turn it off/end it.

Modes and Routines is one of the best features on Samsung devices. As said by other users here, the existing modes and routines only run if configured by the user. I recently created a new routine for my watch to improve its screen readability in bright sunlight now that summer is coming. I would suggest that you look on YouTube to learn how to configure and use Modes and Routines on your phone.

My guess is the OP has accidentally activated a mode and now does not know how to turn it off.  The only way any mode shows up in the notification area is if it's active.  But, since the OP never returned to the post, it's only a guess.
