Why?  The whole purpose of the home screen is easy access to and organization of your most used/essential apps.  The app drawer holds all the apps, and can be organized into folders by whatever categorization method you choose.  Why do you need to resize the folders in the app drawer?  Regardless of the physical shape/size of the folder, they hold the same amount of apps.

Your suggestions only make sense if you are only using the apps screen rather than the home and apps screen configuration.

You can download custom icon packs if you don't want to use Theme Park, although I don't know why you wouldn't if you want to customize your icon shapes.

In past betas, I have requested the ability to enlarge folders in the app drawer because large folders function differently than standard folders.

The rationale is quicker and easier access to categorized apps. Large folders allow apps to be categorized and consilidated into a smaller area while also retaining one-tap access.

I understand you probably feel the additional tap to access a folder is negligible, but it's a matter of choice and convenience that I would like to see implemented and would consider an improvement in terms of functionality.

As for the icon shapes, I would guess OP wants parity with the newly introduced pixel icon theming. Theme Park is great, but it is incompatible with color pallete, does not retain function of dynamic icons, and does not retain the default appearance of lock screen shortcuts, all of which would cause some users (myself included) to avoid using Theme Park for the time being.

Shows how much they listen to beta feedback.  I always understood, though, that betas are to test the already finished product for bugs.  I would imagine any feedback they get for inclusions would possibly make the next update, if there was enough interest.

Correct. Software is essentially finished by the time it gets to public beta phase, though I have seen small improvements in beta iterations that *seem* to be responsive to user requests, whether they actually are or not.

Many of the changes requested in UI7 beta are starting to crop up in 8.5.

I wouldn't mind being able to put all my widgets into a single folder instead of having them all over my home screen.  I don't see the point, though, of having them in the app drawer.
