I agree, and yes I have light sensitive eyes. That's why I set the dark screen up. If they could remove the white oval they put behind the battery level indicator, that would help also. This update is all about AI . You'd figure for 1300 bucks you could control your own phone.

You know for light sensitive eyes, you could also put a color filter over the screen if you prefer light mode.  The color filter might also ease the readability of the battery bubble.  You can find this setting in accessibility and there is also a quick panel button for easy on/off.

I'd like the bubble gone. Was better with white numbers on the black background. Everything else on the desktop is white on black. Just bubble changed.

It looks like you are using the 4X6 layout and to me it appears the apps are fitting on the screen the way they should. Or do you mean they aren't fitting inside your framework of the background? If the latter is what you mean then you can fix that by downloading Good Lock, download the Home Up plugin module in the app, open Home up, tap on Home screen, turn it on, change the home screen grid to 6X6 layout, rearrange the apps and just don't use the outside two columns. That should fit within that framework. Changing the grid layout is also going to make the icons smaller.

Yeah they used to fit in the frame. I did download it. Was nothing there to adjust the buttons size. It's ok gonna change everything around again. Thanks for trying to help. I asked my daughter if she could help. She laughed at me lol. Told her, don't laugh at me, I taught you how to use a spoon. 😂

You misread what I wrote. You need to change the grid size of your home screen, this will change the app icon size also. Open Good Lock, open Home Up, turn on home screen and tap on it, find home screen grid size and tap on it, change the grid size to 6 x 6. You will just use the 4 columns down the center and not the 2 outside columns. That should make it fit within the framework of your wallpaper. I don't think there is any other way to adjust the size of the app icons other then in system settings/home screen and turn down app size all the way but I think I read you did that already.

You can also change the grid size to what ever size makes the icons the size you want then turn on "Move apps button" and you can freely move the apps anywhere on the screen. If you are picky on having them perfectly lined up this gets tricky when you can freely move them about. So you don't accidentally move them you can lock the home screen layout, this is settings/home screen/lock home screen layout. If you want to add or remove them from the home screen you need to turn it off each time.

I am losing my mind. I can't believe ALL THE CONSEQUENCES OF THIS ONE UPDATE! I'M SPEECHLESS AND ANGRY. Buttons changed now. Hold off button to reboot and Google c comes up! I edit a photo and then go to add it to an email and it ONLY SHOWS me the original view - that NEVER happened before. Gmail darn Google Samsung Android the whole lot! Yes the edited is in gallery but I can't pull it in the email like I always had! Unbelievable. I'll see when I reboot my phone the OTHER WAY.... Everything I need to do now is "the other way". This is a real boot in the pants for me. Don't know how you guys are doing. I sent text to support on 1 thing this morning and told him I'll check later. But right now I'm on heart attack number 4 over this already

The power button can be mapped to power off, go to quick settings tap on what looks like a power button, the one in the middle, down on the bottom, you will see the the side button menu, tap on the long press, toggle on power off.
