Samsung Apps and ServicesWith some widgets I found you can resize them. I will start with this, I wanted a clock widget from my Google clock app(not fond of the Samsung clock for setting timers and alarms when in the app). The Google clock widget is a 2X3 widget and that means I can't center it on the screen so I switched to the 5X6 layout and that solved that issue but created another one. I clock widget set one row down with a 1X4 Samsung Music widget at the top. When I changed to the 5X6 layout, that being 5 wide it messed up how the player widget was center on the screen. The Music widget doesn't have a 1X5 player. I then found out I could actually widen the 1X4 widget to a 1X5 widget even though it is not offered. So, with that said, see if you can resize the widget to a more appropriate size that you like. I don't know which widget allow this but maybe some do.
For the app panel scrolling you can change it back to horizontal scrolling buy tapping the 3 dots next to the search bar on the app panel menu, tap sort, check custom order, this will change it back to horizontal. The bad thing about this is you can't get it to sort alphabetically, you would have to manually sort them that way. I was one that liked the horizontal scrolling and when it changed I didn't like it at first. I found I could change it back but decided to try scrolling again. One thing I did was group apps together, example, one file contains Google apps such as Drive, Gboard, Gmail, Google, One, Maps, Meet, Photos and Play Store. I did the same with some Samsung apps. Some of these I have grouped on my home screen also. By doing this it made my app panel a little over a page to scroll.
