My recommendations for samsung apps like the call app

Samsung should make a reskin of the google messages app with rcs and the google features with the ability to show other people's battery/celleur data connection i think it would be useful as it could list if someone is offline or their battery died and I think samsung should make their own messaging app similar to imessage that works with other samsungs

I often tell people my battery is dead or that I'm about to lose signal, just so I can have a few minutes of peace and quiet without constant messages, and this feature would ruin that.

Yeah but sometimes you just wanna get away from 1 or 2 people and not everyone and DND would mute the whole phone.  And your suggestion the person would know that our battery wasn't dead and we still had signal so they would still keep messaging and calling.

I totally agree with you! I would not want anyone to know about my battery status or my connection/signal status. As far as I'm concerned no one needs to know that information but myself unless of course for technical support or something in that regard.
