trying to create a routine to keep the screen on in the Health APP while riding my bike. I like to follow along with the map as it shows my direction and position, etc.

? is there a way to turn off the screen timeout until the routine has finished? right now the longest timeout is 2 minutes. my bike rides are like an hour long๐Ÿ˜

my routine is:

IF/During exercise-Bike

THEN/Screen timeout-2 minutes

I also use an APP  "Bicycle Speedometer" which does keep the screen on as long as I'm in the app.  that's want I want my health app to do. right now, it times out to a black screen while riding. hope that makes sense.

Download Good Lock's display assistant. Enable the control for keep screen on for 30 minutes. This will put an icon in the quick panel for that feature that you can avtivate any time (you can turn it off at any time you no longer need the screen on). In a routine, you would add the action to the "then" parameters: Open app or do app action, scroll to keep screen on and select it. If you need more than 30 minutes you can either add a 30 minute wait to next action and repeat the action; or you can turn it back on manually.

I built the routine as suggested, tried it this morning. It's not working.

When I started my Bike exercise a window popped up telling me (can't upload pics?)

Keep screen on

The screen will stay on for 30 minutes...

Like it's all set but... 2 minutes later the screen goes blank.

I check the routine in Modes and Routines, and it showed to be running.

Powe saving was off. Just not working???

Was the screen already on when the routine started? It may be that the screen has to be already on before it can "stay on". I will have to see if there's a control to turn the screen on. Might have to first use the command to open your bike app before the keep screen on control.

See what happens if you just turn on keep screen on manually when using any app to make sure that it's actually working on your phone. If it is, make sure you add open app (your bike app) to the routine before the keep screen on control. If it's not working, we have to find out why.

Not sure I understand the having the screen on before the routine. I'm opening the health app 1st then starting exercise Bike. 1755786007321.jpg
