My Samsung Messages app keeps closing. I've restarted my phone multiple times. I've gone to Settings > App Settings > Messages > Storage and hit Clear cache and Clear data. When I do this, the space used for cache and data go down to 0, but then immediately go back up to the original storage amounts when I reopen Messages.
I found a previous conversation about Messages crashing in Dec 2023 and tried following the instructions but when I held down the power button and volume up with the phone turned off, the phone restarted as normal, even though I held them down until after the Samsung logo disappeared.
If I can't fix it, can I install a different app for
My Google storage is 94% full. Could that be connected?
Same for me. Clear cache and restarted. I hate using the other message app. I can't see if messages were delivered or read. Messages won't show on my fitbit. I had to use it for a long time because there was a problem where I couldn't text one of my contacts. I swear they are doing something to keep us from using this app. I've had too many problems for over a year trying to use this app, but miraculously no problem with other Google messages app. They need to fix soon.
My messages keep crashing also. I've contacted them about an hour ago. I haven't installed no updates or nothing , it just started acting dumb out of no where. Highly unfortunate since all my business is done through the app
