Lock screen clock issue

Lock screen jumps down about 20% of my screen after a bit, and when I move it back to it's original position, it lasts for a bit, but then I notice it back down within a couple of hours every time.

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or knows what could be causing it.

I've submitted feedback already in the Samsung members app.

It's completely normal and a built-in feature on Samsung A16 (and other Galaxy phones) for the lock screen clock to subtly move or "stretch" to prevent screen burn-in, especially if you use the Always-On Display (AOD) or have the new adaptive clock style; it's a protective measure, like a screensaver, to keep your display healthy.

Why it moves (Prevention)

Screen Burn-in/Persistence: The main reason is to stop image retention or "burn-in," where a static image stays on the screen too long, especially on OLED/AMOLED displays.

Adaptive Clock: Recent One UI versions (like One UI 8 on A16) have an "Adaptive Clock" that dynamically changes size and position to look good and avoid static pixels.

So I should just be getting used to my clock moving like in the attached image?

Didn't realize that it was moving that much. That isn't normal. Wish I had seen that before I posted my comment. I will have to research it a bit more.

I didn't think it should be moving that much either, samsung support replied to my help ticket saying I should send screenshots and show how to replicate the issue, I'll do that now.
