When someone has set their status bar for the dot setting shouldn't live notifications be able to be turned off in the status bar too. I like it in the now bar, I like it in the notification shade, I don't want it in the Live Notification area of the status bar. Live notifications are overwriting my choice to not have anything in the status bar. This should be a choice for the user. I find it distracting when I am using apps to see it there.
