I have not been able to send a text message in over 10 days now. T-Mobile said I have a spam block on my phone. Has anyone else had this happen

I have T-Mobile and haven't had any problems texting. What does a spam block have to do with the ability to send texts? Unless your number was reported as spam and has been flagged by T-Mobile. If that's the case, it's up to them to remove the block.

They said that my number has a spam block on it for 10 days, and I have done everything I can think of to find out about it and get it removed from my phone. I can get text messages, but can't send them.

That's on the carrier to remove. I don't know why they would penalize you if you haven't spammed anyone. I would contact them again (ask for tech support, not customer support) and have the issue escalated.

Sounds like your number may have been spoofed and reported as spam.  That's why there's a block on it.  I suggest that if you need to text with people, for the time being, use either FB messenger or WhatsApp. I'm sure most of your contacts have at least one of them.  Also, do as @Mujibar suggested and have the matter escalated to someone who can remove the block.  However, you said you have not been able to text for 10 days and now you say the carrier says you have a 10 day block, so wouldn't that mean the block is up and should be removed?

Have you been hacked? Do you have some type of trojan working in the background sending spam without your knowledge? You might want to take a look!
