OK. On my S22 Ultra, Google Play System had been stuck on Oct. 1 2025 update, while my old Tab D6 Lite from 2020 i stuck on Oct 1 2025 as well.

I understand the S22 be suse of the delay caused by OneUI 8 rollout (which you can now roll out a new Google Play System update SOON).

But the old Yab S6 Lite should NOT have been delayed, as it no longer gets any OneUI updates.

Si, yeah PLEASE start getting the updates going again. Your just harmong your users by this conyinued delay.

This is a well known issue. Samsung has been purposely holding back Play system updates. See this article for more info:

Well, that is all well and good. For my S22 Ultra which will continue til OneUI 8.5 getting major OS releases.
But, it does NOT explain the Tab S6 Lite from 2020, which its last OneUI UPDATE WAS WAY BACK ON 5.1.1.
At least let my poor old **bleep** tablet update Google Play System. Dont go dragging it into the mess that newer hardware is in.

If your older tablet is no longer getting regular security patches, Play system updates won't fill that gap. The best thing to do with older devices is use anti-malware software and practice good cyber hygiene (don't click unknown links, don't install sketchy apps, etc).

Not worried about gap. Just keeping the Google end of it up to date tho.
