Long press your lock screen until it goes into edit mode. Under the clock will be an area to add a widget. You can add the Samsung News Widget or, if you have another news app with its own widget, you can add that. If you have Good Lock's Lockstar module, you can add it to the AOD as well (if you use AOD)
