Apps moving after updates

The Gaming Hub app has been having an issue where a non-game app (a language learning one in particular) is being automatically added to it. I removed the app twice, but the Gaming Hub keeps claiming it.

I should be able to identify what apps are "games" and which aren't. The app itself probably added a "game" tag somewhere in the metadata for exposure, but I have a separate folder I want it in. It keeps moving, presumably after an update. I don't really want to disable "Gaming Hub only" to keep the Apps Screen decluttered.

I have had other apps disappear from the desired folder on the Home Screen, and become generic App Screen apps many times. There needs to be better app control from the phone side. When an app updates, the phone needs to be able to recognize it as one that existed before, and (if not automatically, then by prompt) either remember where the user wanted it, or ask to move to same folder. Be it the Gaming Hub, or a regular folder, the app control needs to be a little better.

You're absolutely speaking to a real pain point that many Android (and Samsung) users have experienced — and honestly, you're right: app management should be smarter and more respectful of user preferences, especially after updates.
