QLED and The Frame TVsHello.
I recently bought a Samsung OLED S95F TV. For what it's worth, I use YouTube TV for my "live" TV viewing.
If I pause what I'm watching (it can be live TV or something I recorded), my S95F will drop what I'm watching as soon as the screen saver kicks in.
I will press a button on my remote to wake up the screen. The screen saver goes away, but then I'll see that I'm kicked out of YouTube TV. I'll need to go to the YouTube home page, scroll down on the menu to the far left (where YouTube TV is), and re-login.
I'm not able to pause my viewing without getting dropped from YouTube TV when the screen saver activates...about two minutes. If I pause for a minute or two (before the screen saver activates), there's no problem. It only happens when the screen saver is running.
I worked with Samsung support on this issue. They didn't have an answer as to how to fix it. They had me do a factory reset, which did nothing. The problem of dropping YouTube TV when the screen saver activates continues.
Help!

QLED and The Frame TVsThanks for your question. The short answer is no.
I stream all of my services which includes YouTube TV, Hulu, Netflix, HBO, etc. YouTube TV is the only service that disconnects when the screen saver activates. I have no idea why.
Netflix, HBO, Hulu all maintain their connectivity if I pause what I'm watching and the screen saver kicks in. YouTube TV disconnects when that happens.
I'm beginning to think that the problem is YouTube TV and not the S95F, but it's only a hunch at this point. I did uninstall the YouTube TV app and re-installed but the problem persists.
