Hello!
I'm trying to sort out how to make HDR work correctly with my Samsung QLED QN85C. I have HDMI+ Enabled for all inputs, Game Mode on for the input, and no matter what I do I can't get HDR to look quite right.
When HDR is just on from the Switch 2, the menu is dark and faded and all the games are like washed out faded. When I go in and turn on HGIG In Basic mode the colors are dark and very muted, unless I put it on "advanced" and then it's bright enough to play games but everything looks a little less rich in colors.
I don't get why HDR requires a friggen rocket science degree to get working right and needs to be tuned for every single game. It doesn't help sometimes the Samsung TV just resets the input (HDMI1) with the Switch 2 and I have to go in and setup everything all over again.
I'm about to just turn off HDR forever and never look back... What are other people doing to make HDR actually look "good" on their Samsung QLED TVs?
