Does not upscale

Have a question, I have a qn85c 85” neo qled tv, it states it will upscale to 4k, had a technician to check it and he told me it doesn’t upscale. Do I need to return the tv or get a second opinion?

According to the specs it should upscale. Here's a good read on the feature as upscaling is often not a great feature in my opinion.

If it DIDN'T upscale, any input with resolution below 4K would appear as a smaller box within the 85" screen. Of course it upscales--you need a new technician.
