I want to connect headphones to my TV. My headset uses the 3.5 mm TRS 3-pole jack. Will the USB A connection support the headphones with the USB to 3.5 mm jack adapter cable? The descriptions for cable compatibility are confusing. I configured the TV using a headset, but want to listen to the TV with my premium Sennheiser headphones.

But please be warned that some devices may be or may not be compatible. From what I have seen most users was using an audio device that is already using a USB and not using a converter.
